About Love Me Do Photography
Simply, we love what we do. Love Me Do Photography combines the talents of two highly ambitious and lovely teams of ladies who decided to branch out from photography into the world of weddings and have never turned back.
We are not your typical wedding photographers. As we each come from fine art photography backgrounds, our goal is to capture moments in a photojournalistic approach, but with a fine art sensibility. We love to pay extra attention to the details of your wedding that we know you have spent many a day planning, as well as specialize in one-of-a-kind portraits that showcase our own personal style. Our approach is to take photographs that narrate a story of the entire day, while portraying our subjects as genuine as possible. Drawing from style, composition, and the aesthetics of our fine art photography, we work to create images that are unique to hiring artists.
The ladies of Love Me Do Photography each come from a background of producing high quality work, so they are always on top of using the best quality equipment, techniques, and providing you with the finest quality digital files, prints, and albums. Not only do we seek to please our clients, but also ourselves. We aim to stay ahead of the curve with fresh ideas, as our goal is to walk away with another award winning image. We have high standards for the quality of work we produce!
Please feel free to call or email to inquire about availability for your wedding or just to chat! We have tea and cookies and would absolutely love to meet with you!
About the ladies
Carina graduated with a BFA in Photography and Art History from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, and has been shooting weddings since 2002. Her wedding work has been recognized and internationally awarded by WPPI (www.wppionline.com/) as a style apart from the rest. Her portrait work has been exhibited throughout Philadelphia, and it's surrounding areas. She teamed up with fellow alumni Amanda in 2006, and together they work to explore techniques they have gained from shooting portraits, architecture, landscapes, and stage set-ups, applying them to weddings. A traveller and adventure-seeker, Carina aims to view the world through new eyes, taking in every new experience she sees as a image of beauty. Amanda also works full-time as a photographer for the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and enjoys tearing down walls and working on the two trinity homes she owns in the Olde Kensington section of Philadelphia.
Nadine earned her BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Since then, her images have eloquently depicted the celebration and beauty of the human experience, whether through her fine art work or through the fun of weddings. Cinematic in nature, Nadine finds great influence in the way she shoots and styles her images from film noir.
Nadine's wedding work will be published in the upcoming issue of Brides Philadelphia, featuring her unique approach to weddings. Her work has also been nationally awarded and exhibited in numerous shows throughout NYC, Philadelphia, and Texas.
