Vicki + Aaron | Xi West Wedding | Philadelphia, Pa

Vicki and Aaron met when a friend set them up together. The two bonded over their shared love of Pokemon, anime, arcades and both being American born of Chinese parents. I loved getting to know these two over the course of their engagement. Every interaction with Vicki and Aaron made me love them more and I was so excited to photograph their wedding day. Even though it rained a bit, nothing could damper the excitement and brightness of the couple. The ceremony was a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, honoring both sides of the families. The reception consisted of toasts, a scavenger hunt, shoe game, prizes, Pokemon ball toss, and dancing! Thanks Vicki and Aaron for having us capture your wedding!
