Emily + Alex | Glen Foerd Mansion Wedding | Philadelphia, Pa

Emily and Alex were married at Glen Foerd Mansion in Philadelphia. We know Emily as “Miss Emily” a pre-school teacher that Amanda’s daughter, Agnes, was a student of. Agnes, rightfully, was/is obsessed with Miss Emily, so when the time came for her to get married, we know, we would also become obsessed. Emily and Alex’s day was a color explosion in the best way possible. Guests were encouraged to wear colorful outfits. Emily’s grandmother was the “flower grandma,” and Emily herself made many of the stained glass DIY decor for the day. The couple hand picked an amazing team of vendors that included one of our future brides, Brooke of Sunburst & Stardust, our friends Sara of Salt Floral and Mallory of Party Girl Bake Club, and rentals from Fishtown’s own Thunderbird Salvage. Other vendors can be found below!

For their day, we were inspired by the architecture of the mansion, and the many rooms available to photograph in. So naturally, we had to take advantage of all that! We shot with both digital and film photography. The film really added to the aesthetic and I’m so pleased with how the pictures came out! Congrats to Emily and Alex, it was a blast!
